    About Me

I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia in November 1982. In 2001, I came to Singapore to study electrical & electronic engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I earned my bachelor degree (1st class honours) in July 2005. I did my final year project in the field of brain-computer interfacing and was awarded a silver prize in the College of Engineering Technology Exhibition Week. Subsequently, I worked as a research officer in the neural signal processing group in Institute for Infocomm Research - Agency for Science, Technology, and Research, Singapore. In 2007, I started pursuing a combined MICT-Ph.D. programme in statistical machine learning field in the Australian National University, Australia under supervision of Prof. Dr. Alexander J. Smola and Dr. Tiberio S. Caetano.
