Who am I ?
I
am a researcher in
the Wireless
Signal Processing Group at the National
ICT Australia in Canberra, affiliated with the Research School of Information Science
and Engineering at the Australian
National University (ANU). I
did my undergarduate level of
studies in Colombo, and my masters and PhD at the Univeristy of Technology, Sydeny, in
2000 and 2003, repsectively. My PhD thesis was in synchronisation
techniques for digital receivers.
In the past, I have worked with the Australian Cooperative Research Centre for Satellite Systems (CRC SS) on the Fedsat project in the Communications program designing satellite earth station modems for LEO satellites at Ka-band. I have also taught final year undergraduate and post graduate level subjects in the Telecommunications stream at the University of Technology, Sydney.
