There is Nothing to See Here

[M]ysticism might be characterized as the study of those
propositions which are equivalent to their own
negation. The Western point of view is that
the class of all such propositions is
empty. The Eastern point of view
is that this class is empty
if and only if it isn't.

Raymond Smullyan

I completed my PhD with the Computer Sciences Laboratory in the Research School of Information Sciences and Engineering at the Australian National University. I was formerly a student at Simon Fraser University, in Vancouver, Canada. As my friends know, I am a jazz / guitar / soccer / GNU/ Linux buff.

My Erdös number is 4. However MathSciNet says that my Erdös number is 5. It would be interesting to find out my maximum path length to Erdös. According to AMS's classification, I work in area 03B53, though I also have interest in 68T27, 68T30, 68T37, 68N30 and 68Q60. I guess I am interested in 03B80 more generally. To get a feel for all this, perhaps Stephan Wehner's thought may help.

This page always needs updating. Have a look at the recent log of Linklint.

Here's some stats on my bibliography. But for size, there is nothing like Rich Thomason's collection or Joel Seiferas' collection.

Last time I took the Geek Test I was ranked a major geek. I am hoping to improve my score next time.
